THE TRACKS OF TIME: CAPTURE THE BILLINGS DEPOT THROUGH YOUR LENS

The Billings Depot, a historic and vibrant hub for our community, has recently undergone numerous renovations and capital improvements in our ongoing mission to preserve and protect our 1909 train depot. Now, we’re seeking talented photographers to help us refresh our visual assets.

We're looking for captivating imagery that truly reflects the unique historic charm and elegant energy of our diverse spaces and events. This is a unique opportunity for photographers. Showcase your skills, expand your portfolio, and gain valuable experience shooting in a premier event venue, all while contributing to the preservation and promotion of a local landmark.

 We are seeking submissions across the following key categories: (10 spaces available)

Weddings:

• Candid moments, ceremony/reception, decor & room design, utilization of our unique backdrops
• 2 spots available (Main Depot & The Post)

Business Events: 

• Conferences, meetings, workshops, corporate gatherings, and networking
• 2 spots available (Main Depot & The Post)

Private Social Events: 

• Galas, parties, celebrations, and special occasions
• 2 spots available (Main Depot & The Post)

General Campus & Architecture: 

Exterior and interior shots highlighting the Depot's historic grandeur and unique features (day and night)

Dinner Tour:

interior shots of (3) different private, chef curated, dinner tour with guests from the second largest tour operator in the US. Photographer selected for these three shoots will also receive a complimentary meal.

Main Building: 

Focus on architectural details, grand halls, and overall ambiance

The Post: 

Versatile event space showcasing its adaptability for various functions 

Here's How the Collaboration Works: 

1.      Photographer's Contribution:

• Select one or more categories that align with your expertise and interest
• Coordinate with The Depot team to attend scheduled events or access the campus for general shots, as agreed upon
• Submit a curated selection of unedited proofs from your session for The Depot's review

2.     The Depot's Commitment:

• Our team will carefully select 5-10 preferred images from your proofs for final professional editing
• Upon receiving the final edited photos, The Depot will be granted perpetual, non-exclusive rights for use in all marketing, advertising, and promotional materials (print, digital, web, social media).

Benefits for Participating Photographers:

Complimentary Day in The Post: Receive one complimentary full day of access to The Post including tables, chairs, and access to two outdoor courtyards (valued at $950). This day can be utilized for your own photography projects, client shoots, workshops, or any other creative endeavor, subject to standard venue availability and agreement. Photographers who are selected for multiple categories will receive 1 day for each category.

 Enhanced Visibility & Preferred Vendor Status: Gain prominent recognition on The Billings Depot's website as a valued photography partner, showcasing your work and providing a direct link to your portfolio. This personal endorsement highlights your quality and our direct experience working with you, positioning you as a top vendor for future clients.
