The historic Billings Depot is a complex of beautifully restored buildings on Montana Avenue, featuring the original Union Depot Passenger Station built in 1909 by the Northern Pacific Railway.  The Depot is a 501-c3 non-profit special events venue that remains financially sustainable through 2 core revenue streams: facility rentals to community members for weddings, fundraisers, concerts, and corporate events, as well as fundraisers put on by the Depot itself throughout the year to help raise additional funds to assist in paying the extensive costs involved in the upkeep and maintenance projects necessary for this complex of buildings.  Funds raised through these events in 2014-2015 will go towards paying for major repairs to the Depot’s gutter system, replacing old chairs, and replacing dead landscaping and other greenscaping projects.
